In Connecticut there aren’t any state regulations in place that require a server or bartender to be licensed in order to sell alcohol.
It is important to keep in mind though that some bar owners will require bartenders and servers to complete such courses regardless of state or city laws.
A popular online bartending training program in the state is called Responsible Serving® of Alcohol. If you want potentially want a leg-up on the competition while apply to different bars in the state, a course like this is worth considering.
