Bartending License Requirements for Wyoming

Last Updated:

Obtaining a bartending license in the state of Wyoming can be a confusing process. This is because each local jurisdiction has the authority to decide what, if any, training is required.

For example, the city of Cheyenne requires servers of alcoholic beverages (i.e. bartenders) to receive alcohol server training within 30 days of employment. Some cities, conversely, don’t enforce any alcohol training programs at all.

That said, if you’re looking to become a bartender in the state of Wyoming, it’s critically important to double-check with your employer or local municipality if it’s required for you to go through server training. If so, you’ll have to successfully complete training through one of the providers below.

Wyoming State-Approved Server Training Programs:

If your local municipality DOES require training, below are approved training programs by the Wyoming Liquor Division.
